This week I'm teaching in Negril, Jamaica working as a visiting fitness instructor at a couples resort. Every morning I wake up and teach spin class, in the evening I teach a 30 minute abdominals class, and a 60 minute boot camp. It's great encouraging people on vacation to work out and stay fit.
When booking a vacation I would suggest a resort that has exercise and fitness options. Even though I am teaching I am going to take advantage of the all their fitness classes. Every day the resort offers complimentary fitness classes from spin to boot camp and abdominals - which I am teaching and also personal training sessions, group tennis clinics, and private tennis lessons available to all guests.
This allows guests to stay fit and active while on vacation. An athletes heaven. If these options are not available at your resort there are always other activities such as; horse back riding, snorkeling, swimming, and hiking tours. There are so many hours in the day to relax on the beach and I cannot stress how important living a healthy life is. Next time you book a vacation I challenge you to consider spending some time researching all exercise and fitness options wherever you decide to go!
