What makes Polk Audio's headphones better than others?
Ben: Everyone has different shaped ears, so we studied them. We took models of various ear shapes and sizes so that we could create the perfect fit. Our headphones fit perfectly; the ear bud conforms to your ear shape.
What are some other features?
Ben: Initially we designed the headphones to withstand the rigorous training of professional athletes. So they fit securely, they are lightweight, the sound is great and each headphone has an adjustable wire length. If your music is clipped to your shirt by your neck you can adjust the wire to a shorter length or if your music is at your waist the wire can be longer. There are 3 cable length options.
It seems that they are quite a few styles! What is your favorite headphone set?
Ben: I like the Ultra Fit 3000; the fit is great and they hook over your ears and even form to your ears. They are comfortable and never fall off.
What can we expect next from Polk Audio?
Ben: More headphones! We are working on noise canceling headphones. These work especially well when you are an airplane. We are always working on stylish and sporty headphones.
After careful consideration and many runs with each style of headphone, the Ultra Fit 500 gets my vote! Not only do I love the color (yellow), they also have extra ear buds in a size small enough to fit perfectly in my tiny ears. They even come with the coolest carrying case!
